Love + Chocolate: New Name, Same Delicious Chocolate!

Hello! And welcome to our very first blog post! In this post we thought we'd tell you just a little more about our shop and our product. And let you know why we have changed the name of the shop to Love + Chocolate!

 For more than 17 years, this little retail shop has been providing our community with some of the best chocolate the world has to offer -- Leonidas brand Belgian chocolates. We are so proud to be the new owners of the store and to continue to share this exceptional chocolate with all our new and existing customers. Even though our name has changed, we definitely will continue to carry these great chocolates and do even more to educate customers about the quality of the ingredients and hand-crafted processes of this exceptional product.

So, you might ask, why change the name? Well, we bought this shop because we wanted to pursue a family-owned business after many years working in the corporate world. As our daughters started to grow up, we realized that life is just too short to not be working with the people you love. We wanted to spend more time together as a couple, and we wanted our girls to grow up with a good work ethic and an understanding of what it really means to be part of a community. It was a very big risk for us to take as a family. But we are in it together, and to make it work we know we are going to need a lot of love. And chocolate.

So, there it is. That's how we decided that the perfect name for our shop would be Love + Chocolate. For us, it explains why we're here and why we do what we do. For customers, we hope the name feels welcoming and approachable. We hope it entices you to come on in, get to know us, and check out our amazing chocolate and coffee!

Finally, we'd just like to say that these last few months have been incredible and we are having such a great time getting to know all of you! If you haven't been in the store lately, we have brought in several new items that you might want to check out.
